Configure a Custom Tile for PlanSource
How to configure custom tiles in Dimensions for HCM PlanSource.
Configure a custom tile for the Home Screen so that employees can directly access PlanSource.
Note: If single sign-on is
not configured, get the URL that goes directly to PlanSource. The employees will log in with their email address and, upon initial log-in, have to reset their password.
Note: You no longer need an AppKey to call API operations. If one is defined, it is ignored.
- Click Tap .

. - Enter a unique Name.
- Enter a Label. Examples: Enter Benefit Center or My Benefits.

In
Tile Type, select
Embedded Content.
- If the Height option is available, select the size of the tile to most clearly show the embedded content: Tall, Medium, or Short.
- (Optional) In Icon, enter the path to a graphical icon to show in the tile.
- (Optional) In Content Provider, select the organization that publishes the embedded content.
- In URL, enter the uniform resource locator as a fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to the PlanSource server.
- In URL Text, enter the text that the employees will see for the link. Examples: Enter Benefit Center or PlanSource.
- (Optional) Enter a Description.
- Click Tap Save.

Assign the tile to the display profiles and home pages of the people who need to see the tile. Assign the profiles to the people according to their role.
