Configure the Data Import Tool

How to configure the Data Import Tool.

To grant access to the Data Import Tool:

When the Export Only and Import Only settings are set to Disallowed, users can still view the list of exported and imported jobs executed by other users on the Templates processed in the selected <number> days page, but they will not be able to access the View Details page for such jobs.

  1. Go to Application Setup > Access Profiles > Function Access Profiles.
  2. Select the appropriate profile and click Edit or create a new profile.
  3. Go to Manager - System Configuration > Data Import Tool.
  4. Set the Data Import Tool ACP to Allowed.
  5. Set Import Only to Allowed. This is the parent ACP for the import template-type ACPs. To allow access to each template type, set each ACP to Allowed.

  6. Set Export Only to Allowed. This is the parent ACP for the export template-type ACPs. To allow access to each template type, set each ACP to Allowed.

  7. Click Save.
