ACPs for reporting functionality

Function Access Profiles define a user's specific access rights. To set the access control points (ACPs) for reporting functionality:

  1. From the Main Menu, select Administration > Application Setup > Access Profiles > Function Access Profiles.
  2. Select a Function Access Profile or click New to create a new one.
  3. To define rights for manager reports, select Manager - Department Manager.
  4. Expand Reports and set the following Function Access Profile control points to "Allowed" or "Disallowed":

    When enabled, the user can invoke the Run Reports action from the Report Library page.

    Report Scheduling

    When enabled, the user can schedule reports. The user can access the Schedule Report page from the Report Library page.

    Report Setup > Report Access Setup

    When enabled, the user can access the Report Data Objects Management, Published Reports and Unpublished Reports pages in Setup.

    When enabled, the user can select a value for the "Run Report As..." option. When disabled, the user can only schedule reports as themselves.

    When enabled, the user can:

    • See all report jobs that have been scheduled, regardless of who schedule the report jobs
    • Edit all report jobs.
    • Access report scheduling and schedule reports for others

    When enabled, the user the Report Library link appears in the user's the Main Menu.

    When you select "Allow," the following warning appears. You must click Yes to enable access.

    Selecting this option will allow users assigned this Function Access Profile to schedule reports to be delivered as email attachments. Reports may include personal information. This setting may be transferred to another tenant via Setup Data Manager or by cloning. Do you wish to continue?

  5. When finished, click Save or Save & Return.
